For those who dare to take on challenges and get out of their comfort zone, I encourage you to study abroad and widen your horizons. Don’t be intimidated and get the planning started now!

1. Why did you choose to study in Japan?

I’ve been to Japan for about a year for an intensive Japanese language course. After coming back, I felt that I have to pursue my study in Japan because I am very familiar with the Japanese culture and language. Studying in Japan was the obvious choice to make.

2. How did you prepare Doc and find info before you study in Japan?

I advise other students to attend Study in Japan Fair and consult with the representatives from each school directly. They will help to guide you through the requirements and the application process. Otherwise, you will have to do your own research online.

3. What do you expect to learn or discover in your time abroad?

I wish to make many international friends and travel around Japan while acquiring new skills and knowledge through various courses my university offers.

4. What are excites you about studying abroad?

I am studying in a Discovery Program for Global Learners of Okayama University, where students can engage in a multi-cultural environment. Having the chance to talk to people from around the globe is a blessing you don’t normally get in a university here.

5. What advice would you give to another student?

For those who dare to take on challenges and get out of their comfort zone, I encourage you to study abroad and widen your horizons. In these recent years, many Japanese universities are offering scholarships and privately-financed courses for Cambodian students. Don’t be intimidated and get the planning started now.
