What's New at KUAS?
On May 25, Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) held its first International Day! This event, planned by the KUAS International Student Council, was the first of its kind and was hosted with the aim to create a hub for international and Japanese students to exchange and experience the many different cultures that exist at KUAS. The event included a mock marketplace where students served their native cuisine and offered traditional games and activities, such as the ancient game “Assyk” from Kazakhstan. In the cafeteria, student performers took the stage in costumes and traditional clothing, showcasing their musical and dance talents.
